can you live without

a couple years back I watched a programme where the makers took away an essential part of a family's life, for instance, in the case of one family, their entire diet consisted of ready meals. The mother had never cooked a meal in her life, even the kids school lunches were shop bought sandwiches. And for one month, they had to go without, cook everything from scratch, it was hillarious. Having said that, after a month, the family had totally changed their way of doing things, and although they went back to ready meals, they did start to cook some things. So, my question is, is there something in your life that you could not imagine ever being able to live without?

i guess the one thing i couldn't live without is a supportive friend network. It's easy to go without the superficial things in life. that's been demonstrated over lent by goodness knows how many people, but without people to turn to, i'd be screwed.

I couldnt' live without love, and by that, I don't just mean love of the opposite sex, I mean love in general. I think it's the most important thing in life. Everyone needs to be loved.

Well I think the topic was suppose to be more meterial. I don't think I would make it without my microwave. I have come to depend on that thing as not the primary cooking device but defenatily the secondairy device. I also don't think I could make it without my watch. Man a week without clocks of any kind. It would be so weird. heheheh

I couldn't live without my computer, my friends, my watch, or music. Music is a huge part of my life. I sing; I've been singing since I can remember. Singing is a real stress reliever for me, and when I'm not singing, I'm listening to music. I can't get through a day without music.

Well, I couldn't live without my weekend cheeseburgers, I'm addicted to them, that's for sure. I've been eating them since I was 8 years old, and weekends would be torture without them. If a doctor said I had to live without them, or I started having severe stomach pains every time I ate one, I would go on living, but something would definitely go out of life for me if ii had to give them up. The computer? well, I can live without talking to anyone on it if there isn't anyone to talk to, but after spending so many evenings on it, I'd feel sort of lost. Talking in general, now if I can't do that, it nearly kills me. I have had laryngitis twice in my life, and had to content myself with keeping my mouth shut for a few weeks, except foroccasional whispers when I was asked something, and it was murder for me.

I couldn't live without my family. I mean I'd never want to live far away from them. Even when I was staying at a rehab center for the blind in a city I've stayed at several summers in a row before, I really missed them, and they would come to visit every few weeks. I really love my parents, brothers, sister, her family, and my dogs. *smiles*

Oh, my kettle. An Erin denied access to tea is a scary, scary thing. Of course, I'd just take the time to boil a saucepan rather than drink any less of the stuff, I do when camping, but there'd be a lot of uncaffinated bitching and whining in my kitchen if I was back to basics every morning.

I'd also miss my stario a heap, but increased shower-singing would compensate... or make me feel better anyway.
